Our commitment and goal of Whispering Breeze is to provide the best vacation getaway experience in Southern Iowa, Along with our natural southern hospitality, we boast of breath taking lake views, as well as beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our Cabins are unique in style and come with all of the modern necessities that help to make a vacation fun and relaxing for all. We have cozy front porches, plenty of room on the inside with a modern kitchen and bathroom and a private bedroom. Use the electric stove for preparing your meals or if you want a nice old fashion camping feel, use the outdoor fire pit.

Our cabins are located near Lake Rathbun, Iowa's ocean, which is an 11,000-acre lake that has 155 shoreline miles with plenty of opportunities for recreation. Exceeding Expectations
We are proud to serve Rathbun Lake and the surrounding areas from our location in the center of several historical towns. Our wonderful location gives your family many entertaining activities to choose from. We are a family run business and we are looking forward to answering any of your questions and to offer suggestions on the surrounding activities, so give us a call when you're ready to take a break from hectic city life and enjoy all that nature has to offer!
We are very excited about going into our 7th Year open! Our Cabins are cozy and inviting. The RV's are great to try out your camping skills and the Farm House is great if you have a large family or a group of friends.We currently have reservations in 2012 for Family Reunions. We are very proud of our cabins,RV's and Farm House and the services that we offer. All of our cabins have Private One Bedrooms and Bathrooms. Two of our cabins are ADA designed for our guests ease of mobility. We took great care in finding a builder who understood our desire to provide this most needed service. The Farm House has 3 Bedrooms and the RV's have 3 different floor plans. Southern Iowa also has some of the best Pheasant, Deer, Quail and Waterfowl populations found anywhere in the Midwest. Please call us with any questions you may have, We are very happy to tell the story of our dream. When we took our first footsteps on this land and walked up the hill and turned around and seen the view overlooking the lake, we knew we wanted to share that experience.
